"Bench it like Beckham," and "Too scared" are just some of the messages soccer fans have scrawled on signs in protest of David Beckham, whose ankle injury has kept him benched for most L.A. Galaxy games. He and wife Victoria made a highly publicized move from Britain to Los Angeles in July, getting an A-list welcome party and a prime-time special. And while the team insists it doesn't want to rush Beckham's rehabilitation, not everyone is buying it. "Welcome to America," one sign read,"where people like you get paid to do nothing."
